Los Angeles, United States - July 14, 2025 07/13/2025 11:40 pm GMT-0700 HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Northeast Division officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a taco truck robbery at the intersection of York Boulevard and Avenue 53. Upon arriving at the scene, officers spoke with the workers, who reported that $1,000 in cash was taken at gunpoint. The suspects were described as two Black males wearing ski masks and armed with handguns. They fled the scene in an older model Honda sedan. While investigating the first robbery, officers learned of a second incident at a taco stand located at the intersection of York Boulevard and Nolden Street. In this robbery, $500 in cash was taken, along with a gold necklace valued at approximately $1,500 that belonged to one of the workers. The suspects in the second robbery matched the description of those involved in the first. No injuries were reported in either robbery.
