Los Angeles, United States - July 14, 2025 07/14/2025 12:00 am GMT-0700 STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Emergency personnel responded to a serious auto-versus-pedestrian traffic collision just after midnight Monday at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Ventura Boulevard. Los Angeles Fire Department units arrived to find one pedestrian down in the roadway, surrounded by debris scattered across the crosswalk. Among the personal belongings strewn across the intersection were sandals, grocery items, and a small shopping basket. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. Initial reports indicated that the vehicle involved may have fled the scene. However, LAPD later located a vehicle matching the description parked at the gas station at the intersection. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the driver initially fled or remained at the location. LAPD Valley Traffic Division investigators responded to the scene and are treating the incident as a possible fatal collision. The investigation remains ongoing.
