A medical source said three people lost their lives in an Israeli drone strike on a café in the central city of Deir al-Balah. Another Palestinian was killed, and several people were injured in another strike near Khaled Ibn al-Waleed School in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. In Gaza City, three people were killed when a residential home in the west of the city was bombed. Five more died in an airstrike in the al-Safatawi area in the north. Two more civilians were killed and others injured when an Israeli strike hit a civilian gathering in the al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. In Tel al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City, three were killed in another Israeli airstrike, while a fourth died in the Shejaiya neighborhood in the same city. Elsewhere, a drone strike on a rooftop in the al-Sabra neighborhood claimed another Palestinian life. Two others were killed in Jabalia town in northern Gaza. Five more Palestinians were killed and others injured in a drone strike on the al-Bureij marketplace in central Gaza. In the nearby Nuseirat camp, one person died and others were wounded when a water distribution truck was hit. In the southern town of al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, six displaced civilians were killed when Israeli forces targeted their tent. Five more people, including three children, were killed and 17 injured in a strike on tents housing displaced families near Al-Aqsa University, west of Khan Younis. Drone strikes also killed two people in separate attacks in Khan Younis camp and the al-Amal neighborhood. In Rafah, three Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces while waiting to receive humanitarian aid in the al-Shakoush area west of the city. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, Israel has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since October 2023, killing nearly 58,400 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave and led to food shortages and disease. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
