US: Heavy Rain Causes Widespread Flooding Across New York City Area
Slow-moving thunderstorms brought heavy rains to the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region, including New York City, on Monday, July 14.
Residents in NYC basement apartments were told to be ready to leave. Flights were disrupted, subway and other train services were experiencing suspensions and severe delays due to flooding.
