This is the dramatic moment a wall suddenly collapsed from the weight of floodwater in India.

The resident was attempting to close the gate of his house when the concrete barricade on his left fell on another compound amid heavy downpour in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

CCTV footage shows the barrier and half of the pathway eroded and sank along with the wall on July 13.

The man immediately hurried into his home, shutting the door behind him, while other residents cautiously peeked out of their doors and windows, trying to see what had just happened outside.
