Street food seller has a modified cart complete with a giant T-Rex dinosaur
This is the amusing moment a street food seller was seen riding his modified cart complete with a giant T-Rex dinosaur statue.
Footage captured by Nattawut Namkrathok shows the vendor pedaling the three-wheeled trolley with the black prehistoric creature mounted in front in Nakhon Ratchasima.
The statue, wearing a golden necklace and holding a sign, can be seen moving its legs as the vehicle navigated the road on July 10.
Nattawut said: 'The seller was heading to the candle festival to join the parade that day, and his float was so cool even though it was smaller than the others.'
The Korat Candle Festival is a grand annual celebration marking the start of Buddhist Lent, featuring intricately carved wax sculptures paraded on floats, accompanied by traditional music, dance, merit-making rituals, and vibrant cultural processions.
Nakhon Ratchasima is also well known for its rich fossil discoveries, earning a reputation as a major paleontological site.
Fossils unearthed in the province include dinosaur bones and footprints, ancient elephants, crocodiles, turtles, and petrified wood dating back millions of years. These finds have made the area an important centre for research and tourism, showcasing the region's prehistoric past.
