US, Los Angeles: Menifee (Updated Fatal) Road Rage Shooting Sends One To Hospital
Los Angeles, United States - July 15, 2025 07/14/2025 09:45 pm GMT-0700 MENIFEE, Calif. – A road rage incident started in the city of Murrieta and ended in the city of Menifee at the intersection of Scott Road and Antelope Road. Press release from Menifee Police: Menifee, CA – On July 14, 2025, at about 9:30 pm, Menifee Police Officers responded to reports of a road rage incident involving a firearm. The initial investigation revealed that the incident began on Bundy Canyon Road near the 15 Freeway in Murrieta and continued into the City of Menifee. Near the intersection of Scott and Haun Road, one of the involved drivers discharged a firearm, striking the driver of the other vehicle. When officers arrived on scene, they located a 36-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injury. The suspect, 48-year-old Ryan Dabe of Menifee, stopped near the scene and was taken into custody without incident. He was later placed under arrest for the violation of California Penal Code 187 (Murder) and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center. Detectives with the Menifee Police Department responded to the scene to assume the investigation. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
