Young Girl Donates Lemonade Stand Proceeds to K9 Unit
FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. — A local girl with a love for German Shepherds is turning her summer lemonade stand into a source of support for law enforcement.
Skyla, who dreams of becoming a K9 handler, recently welcomed Sgt. Matt Riemenschneider, Sgt. Andy Kohlmann, and K9 Ace to her stand for a special visit. On a follow-up trip, she also had the chance to meet Deputy Nate Birkholz and his K9 partner Rip.
Skyla donated the proceeds from her lemonade sales to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office K9 Fund, helping support the department’s working dogs. The sheriff’s office thanked Skyla for her generosity and her dedication to the K9 program.
