Mel Bauer was eight months pregnant and deep in daily prep for her restaurant’s grand opening when she discovered something unexpected in a fast-food cup.

With the kitchen still unfinished, Bauer and her husband relied on takeout lunches while cleaning and assembling their new restaurant. On their final prep day, Bauer reached to toss out an untouched sweet tea from Chick-fil-A—only to find it had congealed into a near-perfect gelatinous cube.

She filmed the moment and posted it to TikTok, where the video quickly gained traction, amassing more than 6 million views.

My husband and I were opening a new restaurant while I was 8 months pregnant, so we were in the building everyday preparing for our Grand Opening.
