Friend gives graduate a sash of coffee sachets
A supportive friend gave sachets of instant coffee sash to his graduating companion.
John Dexter Bugaoan decided to give an unusual gift to his buddy Azhalea Mae Galletes during the ceremony in La Union, the Philippines, on June 16 because she 'always stays up late.'
Footage shows John taking out sachets of instant coffee from his bag and putting them on Azhalea like a sash. The surprised girl tried to run away and cover her face as John tried to drape the sash on her.
Azhalea, who was graduating Magna Cum Laude, later agreed and put the sash on as they took pictures of the memorable moment together.
John said: 'I know my bestie, Azhalea, always stays up late at night, so that's why my gift is perfect.'
