Ice Sculpture in Parliament Square Urges Action for MND Families

An ice sculpture of a woman in a wheelchair appeared in Parliament Square, representing Seckin, one of the women at the rally calling for urgent access to treatment for those with SOD1 motor neurone disease. Organised by the Motor Neurone Disease Association, the installation symbolised how time is running out for families affected. I was told that the melting sculpture represents the deterioration of the disease.
