Shop in China partially collapses crushing several cars parked below
Around 1 p.m. on July 17, in Tonghua City, Jilin Province, part of the outer overhang of Building 8's ground-floor shops in the Evergrande Riverside Community suddenly collapsed. A large amount of steel framing, bricks, and concrete fell, striking vehicles parked below.
The collapse damaged approximately five to six shops, and several cars were badly crushed and deformed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
