Water release at Buchanan Dam as lake nears full capacity in Texas, USA
On July 15, 2025, in Texas, USA, @jenmurc shared a video of the Buchanan Dam water release. In the video, the author is seen at Inks Lake observing fish activity near the splashing waters caused by the opening of multiple floodgates. For the first time in over six years, several gates at Buchanan Dam were opened as Lake Buchanan approached full capacity, coming within just two feet of its limit.
