Footage has emerged from China of the aftermath of an incident whereby a dog owner allegedly bit a pregnant woman on the arm to "protect her dogs".

The video, filmed in Wuhan, Hubei Province last Thursday, shows the pregnant woman in hospital with bite marks on her arm and hand.

According to the woman, she used her feet to try and shoo one of the dogs, which wouldn't stop barking, away.

The dog owner then allegedly started to attack her and ended up biting.

Police are reportedly investigating the incident.

According to the pregnant woman Mrs Xue, because a dog suddenly barked at her and the dog owner didn't respond her when she asked for help.

Then, she tried to use her feet to drive dogs, which made the dog owner feel unsatisfied. Thus dog owner beat and bit her.

Police has started to investigate.
