Motorcycle rider finds swarms of bees on his handlebars
A motorcycle rider found swarms of bees on his handlebars, prompting him to smoke the insects out.
Footage captured by passerby Pimpit Chayasorn shows the motorist shaking lit incense sticks near the colony nestled around the right side-view mirror in Surat Thani, Thailand.
The man can be seen patiently standing next to the scooter while extending his arm, holding the bundle of sticks emitting smoke, on July 7.
Experts said that bees sometimes swarm on objects because they may be resting temporarily while searching for a new home, attracted by certain scents, or seeking shelter and warmth.
Bee stings cause swelling as the insect injects venom into the skin, triggering the body's immune response. This leads to inflammation and, in allergic individuals, exaggerated swelling and discomfort.
