Bakersfield, United States - July 18, 2025 07/18/2025 07:27 am GMT-0700 East Los Angeles – Three Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were killed in an explosion at the Biscailuz Regional Training Center in East Los Angeles. The incident occurred at 1060 N. Eastern Ave. A large response team from the sheriff’s department, along with personnel from the Los Angeles Police Department, arrived on the scene shortly after the explosion. As multiple employees and deputies were evacuated from the area, the circumstances surrounding the explosion remain unclear. The training center serves as the base for the bomb squad, housing all their equipment and vehicles. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has not released any additional details, noting that the investigation is ongoing.
