This is the dramatic moment a lorry driver swerved into an oncoming car to save a family of ducks crossing a road.

Dashcam footage shows the quick-thinking trucker attempting to overtake when he suddenly braked sharply to avoid hitting the parent waterfowl and its ducklings in Moscow, Russia.

The truck nearly collided with a black hatchback speeding in the inner lane, but both drivers managed to veer away just in time during the near miss on July 15.

The lorry driver then briefly paused to let the feathered family cross, while another vehicle behind him also came to a stop to allow the birds to reach the road divider safely.
