On July 22 in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, continuous heavy rainfall triggered a landslide on a mountain beside National Highway 355, sending a massive flow of soil, rocks, and vegetation cascading down and burying the road, cutting off traffic.

Dashcam footage captured the moment of the landslide when a white sedan was driving through the area just as the hillside gave way, with debris rapidly spilling across the road.

In a split-second decision, the driver sharply turned the wheel and narrowly avoided being buried. The car skimmed past the edge of the landslide and came to a stop in a safe area.

Eyewitnesses reported that no one in the car was injured, and the vehicle sustained no serious damage.

Authorities quickly closed the affected road, set up warning signs, and deployed rescue teams to clear and restore the area.
