Police arrested more than 100 individuals across the UK in a nationwide crackdown on supporters of the activist group Palestine Action.

Footage shows a crowd of demonstrators rallying in the streets of London, with officers seen removing several individuals.

One protester was carried away by three responders as tensions escalated.

Authorities confirmed that while peaceful protest was allowed outside the British Embassy in The Hague, the Metropolitan Police detained 55 individuals in Parliament Square. Additional arrests included 17 in Bristol, 16 in Manchester, and eight in Truro.

On June 20, Palestine Action claimed responsibility for an incursion into RAF Brize Norton, where two members allegedly broke in and spray-painted military aircraft used for refuelling and transport operations.

Palestine Action said in a statement: 'Despite publicly condemning the Israeli government, Britain continues to send military cargo, fly spy planes over Gaza, and refuel U.S./Israeli fighter jets.

'Britain isn't just complicit, it's an active participant in the Gaza genocide and war crimes across the Middle East.'

Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the incident.

He said: 'The act of vandalism committed at RAF Brize Norton is disgraceful. Our Armed Forces represent the very best of Britain and put their lives on the line for us every day.

'It is our responsibility to support those who defend us.'
