Slug sets off ring camera - wakes woman in middle of the night
A woman woken up by alerts from her Ring camera in the middle of the night discovered the unlikely culprit - was a slug.
Heather Brandon, 37, was awoken just after midnight last weekend (July 19) when motion detectors on her home security camera were triggered.
Her Ring camera had previously picked up her neighbour's cat but this time, it was something much smaller.
When she checked the footage, Heather spotted a slug slowly popping its head into view.
Heather, from Motherwell, Scotland, said: "I woke up at 12:07 am to an alert on my Ring camera."
"I had no clue what it was but the motion detectors were going off."
"When I saw it first, I wasn't sure what it was."
"But when I realised it was a slug, it was a pleasant surprise!"
