Gaza - July 23, 2025 IDF forces under Southern Command continue operations across the Gaza Strip, guided by intelligence from Military Intelligence and the Shin Bet. The 98th Division has intensified its operations in Gaza City, while the 162nd and 99th Divisions remain active in northern Gaza, locating and destroying surface and underground infrastructure. During activity in Jabaliya, forces from the 401st Brigade Combat Team identified several Hamas militants approaching their position. A swift aerial strike eliminated the threat. In the south, the 143rd Gaza Division continues its efforts, destroying dozens of militant facilities and uncovering weapons. The 179th Brigade Combat Team also dismantled several sites posing threats to troops operating in the area. Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force struck approximately 120 targets across Gaza, including militant cells, military buildings, combat tunnels, booby-trapped structures, and other operational infrastructure.
