The popular Mediterranean destination, located in southeastern France, is among several towns across the region experiencing intense summer heat as a wave of high temperatures sweeps through the country.
Beaches in Antibes were packed with people cooling off in the sea, lounging under umbrellas, and enjoying cold drinks in an effort to escape the scorching sun.
