In The Hague, demonstrators, most dressed in red, gathered at the central station, banging pots and spoons in a loud display of protest. Many carried banners calling for an immediate end to starvation in Gaza and demanding urgent international action. The protests came as Gaza’s Health Ministry reported three more Palestinians, including an infant, had died from starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours. This follows 10 similar deaths reported the previous day, highlighting the escalating humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave. Since October 2023, at least 113 Palestinians have died from hunger and malnutrition in Gaza, according to health authorities. Aid deliveries remain severely restricted, with Israel keeping border crossings closed since March 2, stalling ceasefire negotiations and leaving humanitarian trucks stranded. Israel’s military offensive has killed over 59,200 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and devastated Gaza’s infrastructure, collapsing its healthcare system and triggering widespread food shortages.
