Heroic elderly man dives into river to rescue drowning tourist in China
On July 23, in Fenghuang Ancient Town, Xiangxi, Hunan Province, a tourist accidentally fell into the water and was swept downstream, creating a dangerous situation. People on the shore were momentarily panicked and unsure how to respond.
At that critical moment, an elderly man, without even taking off his clothes, jumped into the water to rescue the tourist. He swam with all his strength toward the person in distress and, with the help of people onshore, successfully brought the tourist to safety.
Thanks to the timely rescue, the tourist was unharmed.
