Care-free children used a flooded road as a paddling pool, playing in traffic in the midst of typhoon rain.

Footage captured by onlooker Marc Keen Tadeja shows a group of boys frolicking in the waterlogged street in Manila, Philippines.

The youngsters were seen jumping into the filthy floodwater and moving dangerously close to a passing bus on July 22.

As vehicles drove through the inundated road, they created small waves that the children played in.

While some were amused by the children's playful antics, others raised concerns about potential health risks, such as leptospirosis, from wading in dirty floodwater.

The deluge came as Typhoon Wipha battered the country, bringing heavy rainfall and flash floods. The storm also triggered deluges in Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.

At least seven people were killed and over 60,000 displaced in the Philippines alone.
