GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JULY 24: Ten Palestinian minors, aged between 15 and 18, were brought to Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza city of Rafah on Thursday, July 24, with visible signs of severe physical abuse, after reportedly being held by Israeli forces for nearly a month.

According to local sources, the children were detained from the “humanitarian aid area” in the Shaqush district, west of Rafah.

Medical staff stated that the minors exhibited extensive bruising and other injuries upon arrival at the hospital, allegedly sustained during their detention period.

The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 8,447 people and injured 31,457 others, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
