National Vice President of BJP and former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje with her son Member of Parliament (MP) Dushyant Singh arrives at the Hospital to meet students injured in the school roof collapse incident.

Raje expressed grief over the loss of young lives and says, "7 school children died. Around 27 children are injured. As soon as we came to know, we were stunned. We immediately left from Delhi and came here directly. I think Education Department of the state should get a survey of all schools done. Wherever the schools are in dilapidated condition, the children should be shifted to safer schools. So that this does not repeat. There is also this issue that it is rainy season and it is raining heavily...Dilapidated school buildings should be demolished and new building should be built. So that children's lives are not played with. Had this building been identified and children shifted to some safe building, this would not have happened. Some concrete work should be done so that this does not repeat. We have received some demands, I will look into it and try to understand it; along with the Govt, I will try to resolve the issue."

Seven minor students killed while over 30 were injured in a devastating incident which was reported on Friday in government upper primary school located in Piplodi village of Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district in India, where a portion of the school building collapsed.
