On July 16, a powerful magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck off the Alaska Peninsula, sending shockwaves through the village of Perryville and rattling a local store. Surveillance footage from multiple angles showed shelves shaking violently, items crashing to the floor, and even truck tires visibly shifting from the force of the quake.
