INTERVIEW WITH NEVZAT ARDA AGIRNEW YORK, US - JULY 27: Sixteen-year-old Turkish swimmer Nevzat Arda Agir successfully completed the “20 Bridges Swim,” a grueling 46-kilometer open water course that circles Manhattan Island in New York. Despite strong currents, Agir managed to finish the marathon swim, dedicating his swim to a foundation supporting cancer patients. With his achievement, he became the youngest Turkish swimmer ever to complete the “20 Bridges Swim.” Formerly known as the “Manhattan Island Marathon Swim,” the race takes its name from the 20 bridges swimmers pass under along the route. The event demands exceptional endurance, courage, and a powerful sense of motivation.
