Gaza - July 27, 2025 Over the past three months, troops from the IDF’s 646th Brigade under Division 99 have been operating across key sectors in the Gaza Strip, including the Netzarim Corridor, Shuja'iyya, Daraj-Tuffah, and Beit Hanoun. During their mission, the forces uncovered and destroyed hundreds of militant infrastructure sites, including military buildings, weapons depots, and enemy observation and firing positions. According to the IDF, around 400 operatives were neutralized through coordinated strikes combining ground maneuvering units and the Israeli Air Force. In recent days, troops from the 646th Brigade combat team, in collaboration with elite Yahalom engineering forces, located and demolished a Hamas underground tunnel stretching approximately 500 meters in the Beit Hanoun area.
