Bus full of passengers crashes into cars at petrol station in India
This is the shocking moment a bus full of passengers crashes into cars at a petrol station in India.
Footage shows a white vehicle arriving at the station, appearing to position itself to refuel in Bijnor City, Uttar Pradesh.
As it prepares to be filled, an out-of-control coach suddenly rams into the vehicle, pushing it along with the petrol pump and hitting an SUV.
Staff scrambled as the bus hurtled toward the station. After the impact, panicked commuters climbed out one by one.
Petrol Pump Manager Hemendra Kumar confirmed that one individual was injured in the incident.
The driver reportedly lost control following a brake failure on July 7.
India has one of the highest rates of road accidents in the world, with thousands of fatalities and injuries reported each year.
The poor track record is blamed on unsafe road conditions, reckless driving, inadequate enforcement of traffic laws, and a lack of awareness about road safety.
