A caring pack of dogs rushed to tend to a crying puppy when it was violently thrown over a family's gate.

CCTV footage shows the canines resting in their shed when a passerby hurled the pup into the property in Bulacan, the Philippines.

The ten pooches dashed toward the whimpering juvenile to check on it, barking to alert their owner.

Moments later, the house owner was seen walking over to check what the commotion was about on July 24.

Resident Angelica De Guzman said: ‘I heard a puppy crying and thought it was mine that had somehow gotten out and was stuck.

‘But I was shocked to see that it was a different puppy being surrounded by my rescue dogs.

‘I assumed it had wandered in and gotten lost, so I checked the CCTV to see where it came from. That was when I saw that it had been thrown over from outside our house. No wonder it was crying so hard. ‘

Angelica cleaned the puppy while her daughter held back the pack of worried dogs, trying to crowd around the injured newcomer.

The animal lovers placed the shaken but unharmed pooch in a small cage and gave it milk. They have since adopted the little one.
