This is the amusing moment a group of children was seen teaching their friend how to swim on a flooded street.

Jordan Barlan spotted three boys playing in stomach-deep floodwaters in Manila, the Philippines.

Footage shows two of the youngsters helping their friend lie back on the water's surface on July 25.

They then removed their hands from under his back, leaving him with his arms and legs sprawled out.

Moments later, as he managed to stay afloat for a few seconds, the boys cheered him on — with one even playfully slapping him.

This caused the boy to lose his balance. He stood up in the water and shook his head to clear the water from his ears.

Large parts of the city were flooded from rain brought by Typhoon Wipha as it moved towards Vietnam and China. More than 100,000 residents were displaced and at least 30 killed.
