This is the dramatic moment dogs survived by riding floating debris during floods in Myanmar.

Heart-wrenching footage shows the canines clinging to pieces of wood amid the rising waters in Myawaddy.

The makeshift raft eventually breaks apart, forcing the pooches to scramble and swim through the floodwaters on July 24.

The scene unfolded amid widespread devastation caused by Typhoon Wipha, which triggered floods across Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Hong Kong was also battered by the storm.

Heavy rains brought by Wipha have caused the Thaungyin River to continue rising, flooding low-lying areas of Myawaddy and the neighbouring town of Mae Sot along the Myanmar-Thailand border.
