Moments later, the fan blasted apart, with its front cover slamming against the cage bars.
Startled by the loud noise, the dog bolted from its shelter before cautiously inspecting the device, seemingly confused by what had just happened.
The pet owner believes the fan malfunctioned due to its old age and prolonged use.
