Woman Narrowly Escapes as Electric Pole Collapses on Her Scooter in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden

A woman riding a scooter in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden had a miraculous escape when an electric pole, along with a transformer, suddenly came crashing down during heavy rain. The dramatic incident, which occurred on Monday evening in the Tagore Garden area, was captured on CCTV footage installed on the same electric pole.
The video shows the woman riding along the main road when the pole suddenly topples and falls directly onto her scooter. Incredibly, she manages to escape unharmed, although her scooter—bearing a Uttar Pradesh registration number—was completely crushed under the weight of the pole.
Panic spread in the area immediately after the accident. Locals quickly informed the electricity department, whose personnel arrived at the scene, cut off the power supply, and removed the fallen pole to retrieve the damaged scooter. Police from Rajouri Garden station have launched an investigation into the incident.
The woman's survival without a single injury is being described by many as nothing short of a miracle.
