Bolsonaro greeted supporters and posed for photos at the motorcycle gathering, one of the largest in Latin America.

The appearance was his first major public event since precautionary measures were imposed by the Supreme Court, which is prosecuting Bolsonaro for allegedly plotting a coup.

The restrictions include mandatory use of an electronic monitoring anklet and a ban on accessing his social media accounts, according to media reports.

The court's order prohibits Bolsonaro from physically approaching embassies, communicating with foreign diplomats, or contacting others under investigation or facing prosecution in the alleged coup plot.

Bolsonaro has consistently denied his involvement in the coup plot.
