A toddler won a nutrition month event at his school in an adorable corn costume made from egg cartons.

Quen Melanie Cabunag and her husband designed the outfit for their son, Vaughn, for a school event in Oriental Mindoro, the Philippines.

Timelapse footage shows the couple assembling the cylindrical costume by gluing egg cartons together, then painting them bright yellow on July 28.

They also made matching corn-inspired footwear before letting the entire outfit dry in the sun, then added holes to attach a leafy green piece to the top of the headpiece.

In another clip, the three-year-old can be seen proudly introducing himself to classmates, parents, and teachers while holding a postcard.

Quen said: 'It was my idea to create the costume. My son is still in preschool and wasn't part of any competition, we just did it for fun, and he loved it. But we were surprised that he won the Little Mister Nutrition Month 2025.'
