7. VARIOUS OF DRONE SHOTS OF FUNERAL CEREMONY NEW YORK, US - JULY 31, 2025: A funeral was held in the Bronx on Thursday, July 31, for NYPD Officer Didarul Islam, as fellow officers, community members, and city officials came together to pay tribute to his service and sacrifice.

Islam, 36, was one of four victims killed in a mass shooting outside 345 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan on Monday.

He was an immigrant from Bangladesh who was married with two boys, with a third on the way.

The attack, carried out by 27-year-old Shane Devon Tamura of Las Vegas, left another person critically injured.

Tamura, who had a documented history of mental illness, used an M4 rifle in the attack and died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The motive remains under investigation.
