US: Hawaii Hotel Guests Evacuated to Higher Floors Amid Tsunami Threat
A magnitude 8.8 earthquake off Russia's eastern coast on Tuesday, July 29, triggered a tsunami warning for the Hawaiian Islands and prompted evacuations from coastal areas.
In O'ahu, hotel guests on lower floors were forced to sleep in the hallway of higher floors for safety.
