Los Angeles, United States - August 01, 2025 08/01/2025 12:00 am GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department officers from the Central Division reported pursuing a stolen vehicle in the area of 3rd and Spring streets. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, and initially, the woman driving yielded at 6th and Spring. However, she suddenly accelerated from the traffic stop and fled from the officers. The pursuit ended when the woman came to a stop near 8th and Olive. Officers approached her vehicle and forcibly removed her from the car. During the apprehension, the woman actively resisted and screamed at the officers, accusing them of being pedophiles. After securing her in the back of a patrol vehicle, the officers searched her car and found a dog inside. While attempting to take custody of the dog, it ran away. It is currently unclear whether somebody located the dog.
