PUEBLO, Colo. — Pueblo police officers detained one motorcyclist after a group of riders was seen performing reckless stunts and blocking traffic, the department said.

According to police, several community members called to report the dangerous behavior, which officers also witnessed. While most of the riders fled, one was taken into custody at the scene.

Police reminded the public that performing stunts on public roads is illegal and can lead to serious injuries or death. Those caught can face multiple citations, and their motorcycles may be impounded for up to six months at their own expense.

The department urged all motorcyclists to ride safely and responsibly.
