US, Phoenix: Phoenix Food Vendor in Golf Cart Injured In Crash

Phoenix, United States - August 02, 2025 08/02/2025 03:00 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and fire department crews responded to reports of a collision with injuries near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Virginia Avenue around 3:00 a.m. Saturday. According to officers at the scene, an adult female was driving a street-legal food vendor golf cart southbound on 35th Avenue when she was struck from behind by an adult female in a Hyundai. The golf cart rolled following the impact, and the female food vendor was ejected. The woman was transported to a local trauma center with serious injuries. The driver who struck the cart did not require medical attention. Phoenix police established a closure for the southbound lanes of 35th Avenue while the collision investigation unfolded. Officers were observed administering a field sobriety test to the driver of the Hyundai. It is unknown if an arrest was made. Impairment has not been confirmed.
