In the latest attack, seven Palestinians lost their lives to Israeli army fire that targeted aid seekers in the southern Gaza Strip.

Nine more victims were killed near aid distribution centers in northern Rafah in southern Gaza.

Two others were killed and several injured in an Israeli airstrike on a school sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

A humanitarian worker from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society was killed, and three others were injured in an Israeli strike on the headquarters of the organization in Khan Younis. The strike also sparked a fire at the site, according to the group.

Six people were also killed, and several others injured when Israeli forces targeted people waiting for aid near the Netzarim Corridor in the central Gaza Strip.

Five more Palestinians lost their lives, and others were injured by Israeli gunfire while waiting for aid delivery in the northern Gaza Strip.

Medics and civil defense teams retrieved the bodies of 22 Palestinians from Gaza City’s Shejaiya, Al-Tuffah, and Zeitoun neighborhoods after Israeli attacks.

Three others were killed in artillery shelling that hit a civilian gathering in the Shejaiya neighborhood in the city.

The Israeli army also continued heavy shelling in central Khan Younis throughout the day, according to local sources.

Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, killing more than 60,800 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The military campaign has devastated the enclave and brought it to the verge of famine.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
