The Nanning Meteorological Observatory issued an orange rainstorm warning that day, alerting residents to the risks of lightning, short-term high winds, mountain floods, geological disasters, and urban water logging.

Amid these harsh weather conditions, an electric scooter rider waiting at a traffic light was unfortunately struck and knocked over by a sheet of metal blown in by strong wind.

Thanks to wearing a helmet, the rider sustained no major injuries despite the impact to the head. A few seconds later, he got up on his own, lifted the fallen scooter, and continued on his way.
