US, Bakersfield: California City Fatal Head-On Traffic Collision
Bakersfield, United States - August 04, 2025 08/03/2025 08:48 pm GMT-0700 CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. – At approximately 8:48 p.m., California Highway Patrol and Kern County Fire responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision at the intersection of California City Boulevard and Susan Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found two vehicles that had crashed into each other. One person was airlifted to the hospital by Mercy Air, and another person was confirmed deceased at the scene. The extent of any other potential injuries remains unknown. California City police were called in to assist with traffic control, and the incident is currently under investigation.
