The waves weren’t the only thing making a splash at Linda Mar Beach this weekend. First-time attendee Les captured her wide-eyed arrival at the World Dog Surfing Championship, where pups from across the globe showed off their surfing skills in a spectacle that blended athleticism, charm, and pure joy.

Held annually on the Northern California coast, the event drew thousands of spectators to watch dogs of all sizes compete solo, in tandem, and even with human companions.

I found out there was a dog surfing competition in the Bay Area so I headed over! The video is me arriving in Pacifica, CA and going to the dog surfing world championship. It is my first time so I am shocked at the dogs surfing.
