13. MODI'S VEHICLE LEAVING NEW DELHI, INDIA - AUG. 05, 2025: Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos and First Lady Imelda Marcos were formally received by Indian leaders in a ceremonial reception at the presidential palace, Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The couple posed for official photographs with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu during the event.
Marcos arrived in India on Aug. 4 for an official visit aimed at strengthening defense and strategic relations between the two countries, as both navigate rising tensions with China across the Asia-Pacific region.
The visit includes high-level meetings and discussions on expanding cooperation in maritime security, trade, and regional stability.
