Boardmasters Music and Surfing Festival, 6th to 10th August 2025
Artist Sean Corcoran, who hails from Waterford in the Irish Republic, enhances the natural environment with ancient symbolism etched into the tidal sands. Sean who enjoys International patronage, describes himself as an |Environmental Artist, he creates Sand Art and Mosaics, often created from discarded pottery and ceramics, He often works for creative events, commissions and festivals. On this occasion, Sean is with his son, who is competing in the Boardmasters Surfing Championship, under 18 category.
The imagery being created here is based on the traditional Celtic Irish Triskele, a symbol recurring in many sacred places.
