Gorilla picks up dropped glasses and puts them in basket for owner
A gorilla was seen retrieving a dropped pair of eyeglasses and placing them in a basket to return them to a visitor.
Footage shows the ape sitting at the bottom of its enclosure, waiting for a basket of snacks to be lowered at the Shendiao Mountain Wildlife Park in Shandong, China.
Moments later, the glasses fell beside the animal, which it calmly picked up and placed into the container.
The clever gorilla appeared to be bartering, and was soon rewarded with a fruit tossed by a caretaker.
